A Green Printing (GP) certified factory is a factory that has met the environmental criteria (green standards) established by the printing industry for the entire business site and each process.

In response to the recent demand for environmentally friendly products, Nakashoshiko was certified as a GP factory under the Green Printing (GP) Certification System, a comprehensive printing environment certification system based on environmentally friendly standards proposed by the Japan Federation of Printing Industries (Certification number F10003, date of certification: June 27, 2007).
As of April 2008, there are still very few bookbinding companies responsible for post-printing processing that have received this certification, and we were the first bookbinding company in Japan to receive this certification as a company primarily engaged in calendared bookbinding.
